Program Note
Salvation for piano trio is an adventure in chaos coming to order, and how this chaos and order reflects on the same musical material. It begins with a pointillistic episode, moves to a contrapuntal fugato transition, and arrives at a quasi-neoromantic presentation of the melody. In this way, it can be described as a "reverse deconstruction," which I suppose would be a construction.
